Dr. Kholodova is a San Diego psychologist who has been trained in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavior, and mindfulness-based approaches. She tailors her approach to each individual client based on his or her needs. Dr. Kholodova provides individual therapy to adults and adolescents. She also offers couples therapy.
Dr. Kholodova and Stephanie Tovar, M.A. are also offering a process group for new mothers who are experiencing difficulties nursing, reduced milk production, or inability to nurse.
If a new mother was planning on nursing her newborn, experiencing these challenges might bring up a range of painful emotions. In a safe and supportive environment, clients will have an opportunity to connect with other mothers, address their concerns, and learn additional ways to bond with their infants.
